As a third-generation pediatric dentist, she is proudly carrying on the legacy started by her grandfather, Dr. Mike Weideman, founder of Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, and continued by her parents, Drs. Cindy Weideman and Kelvin Tse, the practice owners of Smile Island Dental Group and Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.

Dr. Aida Ameri has 22 year of experience in dentistry and 16 years in orthodontics. She was born in Tehran, Iran and graduated in 1997 from Azad dental school. She worked as a volunteer for two years before she joined an orthodontics residency.
