We believe that everyone should have the chance to have a beautiful healthy smile for life, and we work with families to achieve what sometimes seems impossible. Our Board-Certified Pediatric Dentists have passed rigorous training and examination processes to evolve deeper thought for complications such as medical and medicinal interrelationships with dentistry and overall health. Our dentists have had years of experience with treating patients with special healthcare needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, Congenital Heart Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, and more. We also have a highly skilled team of Hygienists and dental assistants who have been awarded for their years of experience and compassion. The Orthodontic team is willing to take the time needed to ease patients into wearing braces or Invisalign®. Our whole office special care training system provides insight to the team on several complex conditions and how they affect the teeth and care that we provide. We review syndromes, medical conditions, medications, mental health, and tooth conditions so that we can better understand our patients. Working with a patient’s physician is how we integrate medicine and dentistry for more inclusive care. The most important and joyful aspect for our team is getting to know our patients and their families. We offer a Get-To-Know-You questionnaire for any parent or caregiver who wants us to understand more about their loved one. A downloadable pictorial social story is available as an aid to help your child understand what the visit will be like. Easing our patients into our dental environment is also available with our complimentary Getting-To-Know-You visit that includes a tour of the office, the chance to meet the team and explore dental equipment. You can be assured that our office will give your child/adult with special health care needs the attention and gentleness they require for a positive and successful experience. We are equipped to comfort your child throughout their dental appointment. We have individual iPads and TVs to play games and watch movies, weighted blankets, vibrating and squishy sensory toys at your disposal. We also encourage caregivers to bring anything from home that helps to ease tension and create a more relaxing appointment. If appropriate, we offer nitrous oxide and sedation dentistry.
